Grown on family-run farms that prioritise sustainable practices and care for the environment, this coffee reflects its producers’ commitment to quality and biodiversity. Many of these farms operate according to the principles of organic farming and fair trade, which not only enables responsible production but also improves the living conditions of local communities.

The Acevedo region has established itself as a leading area for speciality coffee production thanks to its favourable climate, ideal altitudes and fertile soils. Coffees from this area typically offer smooth, balanced flavour profiles, with notes ranging from chocolate to ripe fruit and flowers, depending on the variety and processing method. This growing recognition at both national and international levels positions Acevedo as a key origin in the new generation of speciality coffees.

With an espresso roast, this specialty coffee is designed to enhance its profile in preparation methods such as Italian mocha or superautomatic.

Taste a unique espresso coffee!

Process – Washed
Immerse yourself in the classic coffee washing process, where each stage is executed with precision to ensure quality. The cherries are selected for their sugar content of more than 20° Brix. The wet grinding process leaves 25% mucilage, enriching the flavour profile of the coffee. After careful drying in the sun on parabolic beds for 18-20 days, the coffee reaches an optimum humidity of 10.5%. Subsequently, a final moisture stabilisation is carried out for 12 days before being stored in grain-pro bags.

Variety – Caturra
The Caturra variety is a natural mutation of Bourbon. It stands out for its compact growth, which facilitates harvesting and crop management. This variety is highly appreciated due to its adaptation to different altitudes and climates. Its quality and flavour make it a favourite in the specialty coffee market. Its lower growth also allows for a higher density of plants per hectare, which optimises production.

Origin – Acevedo
They say that drinking Acevedo coffee is like tasting the finest coffee in the world, a claim backed by centuries of tradition and excellence. This region has perfected every stage of its cultivation and production, making its coffee a symbol of national identity and pride. More than just a product, it represents the efforts of generations of coffee growers who, with dedication and passion, have made Acevedo synonymous with unrivalled coffee quality.
