More about this coffee from Brazil
This speciality coffee comes from the Santuario Sul estate in Brazil, a place that encapsulates the dedication and passion of Luiz Paulo Pereira and his family for the art of coffee. With a focus on excellence, the farm combines traditional methods and modern techniques to produce the highest quality beans.
The history of this coffee is also marked by the life of José Isidro Pereira, who, after studying dentistry, decided to return to Carmo de Minas after the death of his mother, becoming the sole heir to Fazenda Sertão. Today, his legacy is carefully cared for by his wife Nazareth, together with their children and grandchildren, who have transformed the farm into a benchmark for speciality coffees in Brazil, always with a deep respect for the land and family traditions.
Roasted with precision and expertise, this coffee has been carefully crafted to bring out its unique espresso qualities. Its roast achieves an exquisite balance between sweetness, body and low acidity, revealing rich and complex nuances that stand out both on their own and in combination with milk.
Every cup is a journey to Brazil’s roots and a celebration of the authentic taste of specialty coffee!
Process - Classic Natural
Discover the natural process that takes cherries to new heights of quality. From the meticulous harvesting of cherries with more than 22º brix to the soaking in water for 4 hours, every step is taken care of. The coffee, sun-dried on African beds for 23 days to 10.5% humidity, reveals its true character. After 12 days of final stabilisation in a warehouse, each grain is stored in grain-pro bags to preserve its excellence. Finally, the batches are tasted with precision, guaranteeing a sublime experience with every sip.
Variety - Yellow Bourbon
Yellow Bourbon is a coffee variety distinguished by its resistance and adaptability to different climatic conditions. Originally from Brazil, this plant is characterised by its golden yellow cherries, which gives it its name. It is known for its ability to produce high quality beans, with a smooth and well-balanced profile. Its hardiness and ease of cultivation make it a popular choice for coffee growers. Yellow Bourbon is ideal for those seeking a coffee with a clean, delicate profile.
