This coffee bean comes from Guadalupe Zajú. Founded in 1945 by Hans Asmus Luethje and his wife, the farm was managed by the Luethje family for over 50 years. In 2017 Santuario Project starts working with the farm making adjustments to align with the high quality standards.
The Santuario Project is responsible for developing all processes, as well as visiting the farmers involved in supplying the coffees for the programme.During the harvest, Sanctuary staff supervise all activities and processes.
The Santuario project in Mexico has given rise to coffees with distinctive flavour profiles, reflecting the diversity and richness of Mexican soils along with the care of its producers. Each cup is the result of innovation, collaborative work and a constant search for coffee perfection.
This specialty coffee has been meticulously roasted with a specific profile for filtering methods, bringing out its more delicate notes.

Process - Classic Natural
Discover the natural process that takes cherries to new heights of quality. From the meticulous harvesting of cherries with more than 22º brix to the soaking in water for 4 hours, every step is taken care of. The coffee, sun-dried on African beds for 23 days to 10.5% humidity, reveals its true character. After 12 days of final stabilisation in a warehouse, each grain is stored in grain-pro bags to preserve its excellence. Finally, the batches are tasted with precision, guaranteeing a sublime experience with every sip.

The F1 coffee variety is an innovative hybrid that combines the best characteristics of Arabica and Robusta, offering a unique taste experience. This variety is disease and pest resistant, making it ideal for growers looking to maximise production without sacrificing quality.
