History of the farms of the
Macizo Colombiano
The Colombian Massif, a mountainous region located in Colombia, is famous for the production of high quality coffees. Its coffee plantations, cultivated by small producers with a coffee-growing tradition that goes back more than three centuries, are distinguished by their altitude and the diversity of flavours they offer. The coffee farms in this region are mostly owned by local families, who have inherited the art of coffee cultivation from generation to generation. These farms are strategically located at more than 1700 metres above sea level, taking advantage of the ideal climatic and soil conditions for the cultivation of Arabica coffee. At Sensorial, we are proud to collaborate directly with these small producers from the Colombian Massif. We work closely with them to select the best coffee beans, valuing not only their quality but also the history and effort behind each harvest.
