What makes this Costa Rican coffee unique is its origin on a farm that takes care of every stage of the process, from planting to harvesting. Thanks to the region’s ideal climate and soil conditions, the beans develop a complexity of flavours that reflect the country’s biodiversity. The Facusse family’s commitment to quality, sustainability and coffee tradition give this coffee a special character that is perceived in every cup.
This coffee has been carefully roasted to bring out the exceptional characteristics of a perfect espresso. Its roasting process allows it to achieve an ideal balance between sweetness, body and acidity, highlighting complex and deep notes that are intensified when prepared as an espresso.

Process - Honey Classic
Coffee cherries are harvested when they reach more than 21º Brix. They are then soaked in water for one hour and pulped, leaving 45% mucilage. They are dried in the sun on African beds for 20 to 22 days until they reach 10.5% humidity. They are then stabilized in a warehouse for 16 days before being stored in GrainPro bags. Finally, the coffee is cupped and lots are sorted according to quality.
Variety - Red Bourbon
Red Bourbon coffee is a variety highly valued for its excellent quality and taste. Its cultivation requires specific conditions, as the plant is sensitive to drastic changes in climate. Red Bourbon is renowned for its balanced profile, which makes it ideal for speciality coffees. Its adaptability makes it a popular choice among growers. This variety continues to be a benchmark for consistency and character in the coffee world.
