More about this coffee from Colombia
This speciality coffee comes from the Colombian Massif, a mountainous region located in Colombia, famous for the production of high quality coffees. This coffee has been cultivated by small producers with a coffee tradition that goes back more than three centuries.
It has a roast specially designed to bring out the unique qualities of a perfect espresso. This roasting process achieves an ideal balance between sweetness, body and acidity, highlighting deep and complex notes that are enhanced when brewed as espresso.
It is a versatile coffee, designed to be enjoyed both on its own, where you can appreciate all its intensity and character, and with milk, creating a smooth and creamy experience that does not lose its personality.
Perfect for any time of the day!
Process - Classic Washed
Immerse yourself in the coffee Classic Whased process, where each stage is executed with precision to ensure quality. The cherries are selected for their sugar content of more than 20° Brix. The wet grinding process leaves 25% mucilage, enriching the flavour profile of the coffee. After careful drying in the sun on parabolic beds for 18-20 days, the coffee reaches an optimum humidity of 10.5%. Subsequently, a final moisture stabilisation is carried out for 12 days before being stored in grain-pro bags.
Variety - Caturra-Castillo
Caturra-Castillo is a hybrid coffee variety born from a cross between Caturra and Castillo, specifically designed to offer greater resistance to diseases such as coffee rust. Developed in Colombia, this variety seeks to combine the adaptability of Caturra with the resistance of Castillo, creating a more robust and productive plant. It is especially appreciated in medium to high altitude areas, where its constant yield allows for good quality beans.
