Corporate Christmas gifts with specialty coffee

Regalos de empresa para Navidad con café de especialidad

Every year the same dilemma arises: you have to choose the Christmas corporate gifts for the team and clients, and time is running out. The usual hamper always works, but it’s quickly forgotten. A gift of specialty coffee is different: it’s enjoyed every morning for weeks, shared at home, and reminds them of the person who gave it to them every time they open the bag.

In this guide, we’ll tell you why coffee is a great corporate gift, what options you have depending on your budget, and how to organize the order so that everything arrives on time.

Why give specialty coffee to your team and clients

  • It’s useful: almost everyone drinks coffee, and those who don’t have someone at home who does.
  • It’s a quality consumable: it doesn’t take up space in a drawer or end up forgotten on a shelf. It’s enjoyed and finished.
  • It tells a story: every coffee has an origin, a variety, and a process. It’s a thoughtful gift with substance, not a generic object with a logo.
  • It’s local: we roast in Barcelona, so you’re giving away an artisanal product made right here.
  • It scales well: it works just as well for a team of 10 as it does for a list of 200 clients.

Gift ideas by budget

We suggest three approximate price ranges. The prices are those from the online store at the time this article was written; for bulk orders, please contact us.

Up to €40: a coffee gift for the whole team

If you want to reach a lot of people with a thoughtful gift, a duo of coffees is the most appreciated option. The Ritual Mood (€35) brings together two very different filter coffees: the Cauca Red Bourbon with 60-hour fermentation, fruity and intense, and the washed Sidama Ethiopia, with notes of orange, raspberry, and jasmine. It’s the perfect gift for anyone who makes coffee with a V60, Chemex, or AeroPress.

From €40 to €60: coffee packs for discovering origins

For key clients or the management team, a pack of three coffees provides several weeks of breakfasts:

  • Daily Dose (from €42.95): Kenya, Acevedo de Huila, and Brazil, roasted for espresso. A pack designed for everyday coffee, from the most vibrant to the most chocolatey profile.
  • Coffee Lab (€47.95): El Salvador with an omni roast, Ethiopia for filter, and Kenya for espresso. Ideal for anyone who likes to experiment with different methods.

You can see all the options in the coffee pack collection. The coffees can be ordered whole bean or ground for each person’s method, something that is best asked about beforehand if you know who the gift is intended for.

Over €60: coffee and equipment

If you’re looking for a more special gift, combine a coffee pack with an accessory that improves the way it’s prepared:

  • Timemore Basic 3.0 (from €60): coffee scale with a timer, 0.1 g precision, and modes for espresso and pour-over. With a filter coffee pack, it’s the perfect gift for anyone who wants to fine-tune their recipes.
  • Outin Nano Gift Set (€194.70): the Nano portable espresso machine with a protective cover and accessories. A high-impact gift for strategic clients or to reward someone on the team.

How to choose the right coffee for each person

You don’t need to know everyone’s tastes, but you should keep a couple of things in mind:

  • Espresso or filter? If most people have an espresso or moka pot, choose coffees roasted for espresso, like those in the Daily Dose. If you know they use filter methods, The Ritual Mood is a safe bet. If you don’t know, Coffee Lab covers both worlds.
  • Whole bean or ground? Whole bean coffee retains its aroma better, but it’s only useful to those who have a grinder. For a large-scale gift, it can be practical to ask beforehand or order part of it ground.
  • With milk or black? The most chocolatey and full-bodied coffees, like the Brazil, work very well with milk; the most floral and fruity ones, like the Ethiopia, shine on their own.

Plan the order in advance

Corporate gifts are decided in October and November, and December always comes with a rush. To make sure everything goes well:

  1. Make the recipient list and divide it into categories: team, clients, and key clients.
  2. Set a budget per person and choose one or two gifts per category. The fewer references, the easier the logistics.
  3. Decide where it will be delivered: everything to the office to hand it out, or directly to each person’s home.
  4. Order with a buffer. Specialty coffee is roasted in batches, and it’s best to book in advance when there are many units. Write to us as soon as possible and we’ll confirm the roasting and delivery times.

If you place individual orders from the online store, remember that shipping is free for coffees over €35 within the mainland.

Beyond Christmas: specialty coffee in the office

A coffee gift usually raises the same question: “Why don’t we have this coffee in the office?”. If your team falls in love with one of these origins, we can also help you bring specialty coffee into your daily routine, with recurring supply, machines, and advice. We tell you more in why it’s important to have good coffee in the office.

Request your corporate gift proposal

Do you have a large list of recipients or need a fixed budget? Tell us how many people there are, the budget, and the date you need it by from our coffee for businesses page, and we’ll prepare a custom proposal for you.

This year, give a gift that is enjoyed every morning.
