Santuario Estate
La historia de Santuario Estate
Founded in 2000 by Camilo Merizalde, Santuario Farm is a pioneering estate that set out to produce the most unique coffees in Colombia. In its first decade, Finca Santuario stood out for creating exceptional coffees for the international market. In 2012, Santuario took a step further with its internationalization under the name The Santuario Project, establishing Finca Tres Milagros in Costa Rica (2013) and Santuario Sul in Brazil (2014). In 2017, it expanded to Mexico with the Ixhuatlán Innovation Center in Veracruz and a partnership with the Guadalupe Zaju family in Chiapas. In 2020, Santuario collaborated with Gesha Village (Ethiopia), applying its processing techniques. The latest addition is El Salvador, which is preparing to offer its origin by mid-2024. With six origins in total, Santuario stands out as the only company that directly manages its farms, from processing to the commercialization of its own specialty coffees.
