At Sensorial Coffee Roasters, the quality and origin of our coffee are fundamental. That is why we work under a total traceability model, which allows us to oversee every step of the process from the plant to your cup. But what is traceability, and why is it so important in the world of coffee?
What is traceability?
Traceability in coffee is the ability to follow the journey of the beans from their place of origin to the final consumer. At Sensorial Coffee, we oversee our own farms in six countries and handle the entire import and export operation for the coffee beans. From the moment the coffee is harvested, we control the transport process to our warehouses, where we carry out meticulous local roasting followed by careful packaging and service, all designed to offer you the best experience in every cup.
Why is traceability important in coffee?
By having complete control of the coffee value chain, we ensure that every stage is handled with the utmost attention to detail. This brings multiple benefits:
- Guaranteed quality: Overseeing every step allows us to ensure that the coffee meets our high standards from harvest to your last drop.
- Transparency and trust: Consumers can know the exact origin of their coffee, the country, the farm, and the processing method. This not only guarantees excellent quality coffee but also supports ethical and sustainable practices.
- Support for farmers: By working directly from the farms and overseeing production, we ensure that farmers receive fair compensation and that sustainable methods are used.
At Sensorial Coffee Roasters, by taking control of the entire value chain, we can offer coffee that not only tastes great, but also has a story of dedication and care behind every sip.
